About the tour
The best Waterfalls hiking in São Miguel is my favorite hiking tour on the island! I invite you to discovery with me some unique nature spots so well kept! Northeast its where you have the great waterfalls on the island, its where there is less touristic activity, this old trails are great refence of our ancestor and able for all ages who love hiking and nature. its a fullday tour from 9:00am to 5:30pm charaterized by peace, pleasure and adventure! easy/medium dificult, its a good oportunity to discovery the more hidden spots of Northeast of São Miguel island with certified nature guide.
( I do not reccomended to anyone to do it alone! )
Itinerary
– Pick up hotel or other accomodation in island at 9:00am
– Cross Northcoast with first stop in view point of Santa Iria
– View point of “Salto do Cavalo”
– Hiking “Poço Azul – 2,5 kms” or ” waterfalls trail – 6 Kms” – depending your physical condition you can choose your hiking trail
– Traditional lunch in local restaurant
– visit Ribeira dos Caldeirões
– Visit Northeast village
– Arnel ligthhouse view point
– Ponta do Sossego view point

Return by south coast to the hotel 5:30pm
Pick up and drop off its where the costumers prefer
